I know this is my second post but I have to

I'm just completely blown away by this little thing that I have to write it out.

Why on earth would anyone continuously post pictures of their honey moon to facebook WHILE ON THEIR HONEYMOON??? Is this generation that addicted to technology that they can't just step away and enjoy the company of their new spouse?

I don't know if I'm alone in this but it's disturbing. I think part of my disturbance is the fact that my husband and I never got to go on a honeymoon. But you can bet your bums that if we did I would have soaked up every second of it and not touched anything that even resembled a computer or cell phone.

It's just really sad how immature some people are and yet they are getting married. I don't have a problem with young marriages. I was 19 when I got married. My problem is immature people getting married. Along with all of these picture updates are status updates about how drunk they are and how they haven't been sober yet blah blah blah. Now I get it, she's excited to be underage but in Mexico where she's of age. But grow the hell up. Your honeymoon isn't about getting plastered, it's about celebrating your marriage.

I can't control other people's actions but this is my blog and I sure as hell can complain about them. If we are that addicted to technology then it's time for a revolution of sorts. Step away from your computers, put down your cell phones and go enjoy some fresh air with the ones you love. Enjoy life, stop reading about other people enjoying life.

Amen!

Even when Ryan and I were in Myrtle Beach on vacation last month we turned our cell phones off and put them in the hotel safe. Vacations are special (honeymoons more so!) and we did not want to ruin our time together. Phones were off, internet was not accessible, blogs were pre-posted, and we survived!

Sure we cracked once or twice and checked for updates, but we were not glued to a lifeline of technology. There are so many more important things!

I 100% agree! When I am with Boyfriend, I am usually off the computer. It is "us" time. If people can really just enjoy time with their spouse without anyone else, well then I worry. It bugs me how addicted people are to technology, their phones, and the internet. I dont have internet on my phone and everyone looks at me like I am insane.
