Game Plan, sort of.

So to follow up from a previous post, and then an even previouser post. I made that word up but it's pretty good.

I mentioned about my head spinning from all the zig zagged plans going on between my husband and myself over joining or not joining and all that.

Remember my statement that was something about giving up because it's the right thing to do for my family? Scratch that.

My latest brain storm is that I will be signing my life (or at least a couple years) to the Navy in return for payment of my medical schooling along with several other benefits.

I have decided that I want to become an Obstetrician/gynecologist. The only problem with this is that would mean at least another 4 years of school. The schooling isn't the problem. The problem is that I can't work while I attend medical school and my husband planned on going back to school once he got out. SO that puts us in a predicament. My husband offered to put off his education for another 4 years but that would put him up there hitting 30 before he goes back and that is just ridiculous.

Since we need to make money but also need to go to school I have found the perfect solution. The Navy has a program where they give you money towards your education along with a salary and health care in return for your service. Since I wanted to join anyways this is unbelievably perfect.

I feel as if my stars just aligned, no lie. Lately I have been very stressed out and just off in every way possible. I started feeling better looking into medical colleges but when I found this little bit of information from the Navy I practically jumped out of my seat.

I still don't know if it's definite yet. I have to talk to a recruiter and make sure it's all possible first. Fingers crossed on this one!

So Jon wouldn't re enlist but you would sign up and get med school help? Sounds good to me! Once Abi is in school that would help you guys out too! But I could always quit teaching and just become a full time nanny for you guys and you could become like the Von Trapp Family with lots if beautiful blondies that I could teach how to sing and play guitar!
