I was extremely blessed to have received any time at all with him let alone 16 days. I'm sad he's gone but excited too. I want the rest of this deployment to be over with and that couldn't happen until R&R was over. So now that it is, game on.
We did a bunch of things over this vacation. We visited family, climbed a mountain, explored some caves, went to six flags, and took a night away to ourselves for some spa and relaxation time.
It was great seeing Abigail with her daddy again. He picked up as if he never left. Such a great feeling to have your family all together.
I think the big guy is definitely watching over me. I feel really relaxed and strong this time around. I'm usually anxious and emotional to begin with but I'm not. It's great.
Anyways, I know you don't want to hear the details you just want pictures. So here they are.
I love my family<3
I just have to add one thing. I just talked to my husband once he got to Atlanta. He said that not only did someone buy him breakfast this morning but a guy gave him his first class seat on the plane. If by any chance either of these men are reading this, thank you.

I'm so glad you had a nice time with your husband! It looks like a wonderful homecoming! And that is amazing about someone buying his breakfast and giving him their seat...you know, their are really good people in this world :)
Great pictures! I hope you enjoyed your time together and that the rest of this all flies by!
